The Blue-Cloud Virtual Lab Plankton Genomics mines the rich metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data collected during the Tara Oceans mission and combines it with in situ or climatological environmental information to infer the function, taxonomy and distribution of the large portion of unknown sequences.
