EOSC Beyond

Mission

The EU-funded EOSC Beyond project is constructing the technical foundation for a federated European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It delivers enhanced core capabilities and a pre-production testbed where service providers and potential EOSC nodes can validate integrations. By enabling seamless interoperability and automated composition of resources across a distributed network of national, regional and thematic pilot nodes, the project moves EOSC beyond a central portal towards a resilient, scalable ecosystem. A proven model, demonstrated by 10 pilot nodes, ensures that any research community can connect and collaborate effectively within the open science landscape.

Collaboration with Blue-Cloud

Blue-Cloud cooperates with EOSC Beyond to test and validate the integration of its marine data services, virtual labs and workflows into the federated EOSC infrastructure. This collaboration supports the alignment of Blue-Cloud's technical architecture with EOSC core capabilities, ensuring that its resources are discoverable, interoperable and reusable across the open science landscape.
