Conceived as a public good and service, the European Digital Twin Ocean (EU DTO) is a key deliverable of the Mission 'Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030', and specifically of its Digital Ocean Knowledge System. It aims to make ocean knowledge available to all, ready to be used by society to support decision-making with fit-for-purpose, user-specific tools based on 'what-if scenarios'.
The EU DTO will enable all Ocean actors to actively participate in the generation and application of knowledge for the pursuit of a healthy and productive ocean.
