Mission

Code Blue is a forward-thinking initiative focused on addressing the complex challenges of our world through collaboration and innovation. By bringing together diverse perspectives, Code Blue aims to create impactful solutions in the fields of science, knowledge transfer, software development, sustainability, and innovation. In order to drive these efforts, the Code Blue team is organising the Blue Biotech Hackathon in October 2024.

Collaboration with Blue-Cloud

Blue-Cloud supports the Code Blue team by providing a dedicated Virtual Research Environment (VRE) for all the participants of the Blue Biotech Hackathon. This virtual space will enable researchers and innovators to test and run analyses across diverse areas such as biotechnology, marine science, and industry. Through the Blue-Cloud's VRE platform, teams can explore and develop cutting-edge solutions for the blue economy, leveraging high-quality datasets and analytical tools to drive innovation in sustainable marine practices.
