All-Atlantic Plankton Diversity & Distribution Mapper

Pilot idea

Combining plankton distribution datafrom the H2020 project AtlantECO and Blue-Cloud to develop autonomous species distribution modelling tools and map aspects of the Atlantic Ocean ecosystem. Test Blue Cloud infrastructure and use Jupyter Notebooks to map to extrapolate and visualise data. Exploit synergies with AtlantECO outputs and the recent results from the MAPMAKER project (biomes, hot spots of change, size diversity) lead by ETH Zurich.
