VLIZ Marine Science Day 2025

This year’s VLIZ Marine Science Day, taking place on March 5, 2025, at VIVES in Bruges, is particularly special as it marks the 25th anniversary of VLIZ. In addition to the usual lineup of scientific presentations and networking opportunities, this year’s event will offer a unique chance to reflect on VLIZ’s contributions over the past 25 years. Attendees are invited to celebrate these achievements while also exploring the future of marine science together.

Blue-Cloud at the event

Blue-Cloud 2026 was featured at the VLIZ Marine Science Days 2025, held in Bruges the last 3 March, with two posters for VLab 3 "Carbon Plankton Dynamics": "Quantifying Environmental Drivers of Phytoplankton and Carbon Dynamics through Data-Driven Models", by Steven Pint, and "A demonstration model of the North Sea pelagic ecosystem", by Tom Van Engeland.
