International Ocean Data Conference - III (IODC-III)

The International Ocean Data Conference III (IODC-III) is an important global event focused on ocean data and information management. The conference is taking place in Santa Marta, Colombia, from March 12 to 14, 2024, and is organized by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, in collaboration with Colombia’s Marine and Coastal Research Institute (INVEMAR) and other international partners.

The event gathers oceanographers, data scientists, government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations working towards sustainable ocean data policies.

Blue-Cloud 2026 at the event

Nydia Catalina Reyes Suarez (OGS and Blue-Coud 2026 partner) is having an active role at the session "Capacity development facilitating data, information, and knowledge exchange". Nydia is presenting the work Blue-Cloud 2026 has been doing on its workbenches, namely for Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs).
