Toste Tanhua is a chemical oceanographer active at GEOMAR Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research Kiel in Germany, focusing his research on ocean transient tracers and ocean observing systems. As the coordinator of the EU project EuroSea, that aims at improving the ocean observing and forecasting system, there are close ties to the EuroSea project, funded from the same call.
