AI4EOSC

Mission

AI4EOSC (Artificial Intelligence for the European Open Science Cloud) is a significant project in the world of scientific and industrial research. It focuses on using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), and Machine Learning (ML) to make the most of the growing amount of big data. Recognising the rising demand for machine and deep learning applications, AI4EOSC aims to expand the services available through the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It builds on the work done by the DEEP-Hybrid-DataCloud H2020 project to provide researchers with better tools and services. By focusing on making data and research outputs more accessible and fair, AI4EOSC wants to help researchers across the EU make faster progress in their work.

Collaboration with Blue-Cloud

Blue-Cloud and AI4EOSC aims to integrate their platforms, the AI4EOSC marketplace and the Blue-Cloud VRE. To achieve this, the teams will:

• Set up Authentication and Authorization mechanisms to allow Blue-Cloud users to access the AI4EOSC platform customised for Blue-Cloud, and enable AI4EOSC users to utilise the DD&AS and other Blue-Cloud services.
• Identify a VLab or WB within Blue-Cloud to provide access to the AI4EOSC platform.
• Integrate Blue-Cloud services into the AI4EOSC platform.
