Healthy oceans and seas are crucial to sustaining life on Earth. Measuring the impact of climate change and sharing knowledge and best practices on ocean management is crucial to understand how to implement preventive actions and avoid seas from becoming harmful ecosystems. Keeping this in mind, MetroSea has organised the "2022 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for the Sea" to serve as a forum for presenting recent advances in the field of measurement and instrumentation to be applied to increase knowledge for protecting and preserving the sea.
