Blue-Cloud Final Conference - Unlocking Open Science in support of the EU Green Deal
Sara Pittonet Gaiarin is Senior Project manager at Trust-IT since 2010 and the Coordinator of the Blue-Cloud.eu Project, the Flagship initiative of the Future of the Seas and Oceans programme of the European Commission. A former journalist, she has a Master’s degree in International & Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste, Italy.
As a Communications and Outreach leader for several research H2020 projects and former journalist, she works to ensure dissemination and uptake of the results of research initiatives across Europe, focusing on innovative communication and outreach campaigns for projects on Open Science, Open & FAIR Data, Research Data Management, Data Infrastructures.
Former deputy coordinator for the European Space Agency (ESA) Business in Space Growth Network (BSGN) contract , she's been Marketing and Outreach Manager for the FAIRsFAIR adn ARCHIVER initiatives and she is currently Outreach Manager of the FAIR-IMPACT project, supporting the implementation of FAIR-enabling practices, tools and services across scientific communities at a a European, national and institutional level.
